Although most Americans, even most American evangelicals, don't get it, taking a knee is a religious act. Rahm Emanuel gets it! He, like all other Democratic Socialists, believes the state, not God, is supreme. Therefore, taking a knee to government dictates, such as to Black Lives Matter, is an act of devotion to government as your god. All of us in America are now being called upon to decide to whom we'll kneel. Will it be to an antichrist country, as its devotee, or to Christ, as His disciple?

White supremacy is rampant in today’s America; however, the vast majority of its culprits are those who claim to be crusaders against it. For instance, the very idea of systemic racism being the reason for African American suppression implies Whites’ supremacy over inferior Blacks. If the prosperity of African Americans in America is dependent upon Whites being persuaded of Blacks’ victimization, so that Whites will have pity on Blacks and permit them to prosper, then, Whites, not Blacks, are captains of the individual fate of all African Americans. This demeaning view of African Americans, which proposes that they are incapable of personal achievement apart from the allowance and permission of their White overlords, is, ......

If you add up all you're being told about the coronavirus you are forced to admit, "It does not compute!" For instance, consider the following:

1. Some Florida labs report a 100% positivity rate from coronavirus test results. 

2. People, such as a man in Tennessee, who've never been tested, are being contacted and told they've tested positive for the virus.

3. The CDC has mixed up coronavirus testing data, which exaggerates the actual number of tests being performed.

4. The present hotspots of the pandemic are not only in the Sunbelt, but also in July, despite the fact we were told heat kills the virus.

If wearing a mask is the patriotic thing to do, as our president has pontificated, then, not wearing a mask must be unpatriotic. If wearing a mask, as Dr. Anthony Fauci prescribes—contrary to his past prescription and to the prescription of many of his present-day peers—not only protects us from contracting the coronavirus, but also others from contracting it from us, then, not wearing a mask must be a very uncaring thing to do. If you live in Broward County Florida today, not wearing a mask in public and public places, as well as in private and in the privacy of your own home, is not only unpatriotic and uncaring, but unlawful.

To prove they were not unpatriotic, the German people embraced Nazism. They did so, at least in their minds, for the greater good of Germany. A fact of history that is often forgotten is that Adolf Hitler, thanks to pervasive and prevailing propaganda, rose to power in Germany’s embrace. 

Although postwar Germans pleaded innocent to World War II atrocities on the grounds of ignorance, they had no such grounds for acquittal, since the Nazis clearly telegraphed in advance their sinister intentions. The German people simply chose to overlook the tenets of Nazism; and in doing so were able to convince themselves, in spite of the Nazis’ publicly stated purposes, that their “Heil Hitlers” would translate into............

If you decide to take steps you deem necessary for your protection from the coronavirus, that's one thing. It's another thing altogether, however, for the government to dictate that you march in lockstep to its demands. To submit to such dictates, subjects us to dictatorial government. It empowers the state to seize control over our lives in every perceived crisis, whether real or imagined, manufactured or de facto.

So-called science, which Scripture warns us not to be deceived by (1 Timothy 6:20), is the "infallible authority" being wielded by the state to bring us into subjection to its lordship. Not only is the state replacing Scripture with its so-called science, but also our Lord and Savior with itself. ............

Two motives Christians should never have are guilt and fear. We should never been shamed into doing something by guilt nor shoved into doing something by fear. While we should be motivated by the Spirit’s conviction, we should never be motivated by Satan’s condemnation (Romans 8:1). While we should live by faith in the Word of God, we should never live in fear over the words of others. In fact, it’s said that the Bible contains 365 “fear nots,” one for every day of the year!

In light of the above, ask yourself how we are presently be compelled in this country to wear masks in pubic. Is it not by guilt and fear? We are told we must wear a mask, not only for our own protection, but for the protection of ............

I wrote in the last Wilderness Voice about how President Trump’s recent promise to build a new monument to “American greatest” is eerily similar to a couple of past monuments erected for man’s glory—the Tower of Babel and Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image (Genesis 11:1-9; Daniel 3).
