Before it was Memorial Day, the May 30th holiday was called Decoration Day. It’s original purpose was to remember the fallen soldiers in America’s Civil War, by decorating their graves. However, after World War I and World War II, the memorial holiday became a time to remember all of America’s fallen soldiers, not just those in the Civil War. Therefore, it’s name was changed and, in 1968, President Lyndon Johnson set the date for its observance as the last Monday in May.

Novel coronavirus vaccines are unlike any vaccine ever given to humans before. They are not FDA approved, but emergency authorized. There have been no studies on their longterm side effects. Some known serious sides effects suffered by the vaccinated thus far are: acute allergic reactions, heart problems, blood clots, and Guillain-Barré syndrome — a rare autoimmune disorder that occurs when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks its own nervous system. Granted, these side effects are rare, but the jury is still out on the longterm side effects of the vaccines.

Our country is increasingly becoming antichrist and anti-Semitic. While anything that might offend others in the slightest sense, such as refusing to use nongendered pronouns, is immediately condemned in today’s America as intolerance, it is, at the same time, open season in today’s America on Jews and Christians. Much that perplexes us in our Christian lives is caused by the answers to our prayers. The problem is, we often don't know what we're really praying for, because we don't really know how we ought to pray. As a result, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us by translating our prayers into groanings that will eventually grant us God's answers to our prayers (Romans 8:26). Let's consider a few examples.

1. We pray for patience, but the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf for tribulation, since tribulation produces patience. (James 1:2-3)
2. We pray to be obedient, but the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf for suffering, since we learn obedience through the things that we suffer. (Hebrews 5:8)

In our last post, in this important series of posts, we continued to prove that America is the book of Revelation’s “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,” this fallen world’s foremost and final superpower.
