Dr. Samuel Johnson once said, "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel." Many times scandalous politicians conceal their malicious ulterior motives under the false flag of patriotism. Today, we're seeing something even more sinister than what Johnson saw; namely, democracy being used as the last refuge for tyranny. Permit me to elaborate with a couple of current headlines.

First, Israel's Knesset just passed legislation that will prevent its judiciary from overruling the will of the people and their elected representatives every time a judge finds the will of the people and the work of their legislators unreasonable. The Department of Justice has filed official charges against Gal Luft. It did so three days after he put out a video alleging that Joe Biden is a compromised president, because of the Biden family's illicit dealings with Red China. Dr. Luft, who is now in hiding, is the former executive director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, as well as a former adviser to the China Energy Fund Committee (CEFC), which turned out to be a front for a Chinese government-connected energy company, with which the Bidens had business dealings. In March of 2019, Luft initiated a two-day meeting with DOJ and FBI officials at the U.S. Embassy in Brussels, where he voluntarily provided them with evidence of the Biden Family's ............

The only miracle of our Lord recorded in all four Gospels is the feeding of the five thousand. Following our Lord’s supernatural filling of the multitude’s hungry stomachs, the miraculously fed crowd attempted to force the miracle working Christ to become their king (John 6:14-15). However, Christ refused their crown, rebuking them for disregarding their souls for their stomachs (John 6:27).

This miracle, found in all four Gospels, shows us that a sure path to an earthly throne is through men’s stomachs. In other words, men will readily surrender their liberty, especially in a time of scarcity, to anyone who can provide for their necessities. As the Apostle Paul warned, fallen man is ever-prone to make his stomach.........

As unimaginable as it is, it has taken a Supreme Court ruling to keep religious liberty, at least for now, temporally propped up in America. "The Supremes" have ruled that the LGBTQ+ community can no longer target and attempt to financially ruin, through civil litigation, Christian business owners. As should have been obvious to anyone with a thimble full of sense, it's unconstitutional for militant members of the LGBTQ+ community to threaten Christian business owners with financially ruinous civil suits over refusing to be coerced into conformity to their radical request for services, especially when those services violate the business owner's Christian convictions and Biblical beliefs.
