Democrats never blame themselves for suffering the consequences of their own crimes; instead, they always blame others. It’s never their fault, but someone else’s, when the consequences of their own actions finally catch up to them. For instance, Michigan’s Governor Gretchen Whitmer blames Donald Trump, not her unconstitutional seizure of dictatorial power over the lives and livelihoods of all Michiganders, for an alleged plot to kidnap her from her plush vacation home. In Whitmer’s mind, it’s inconceivable that her self-deification, which should result in the homage of all Michiganders, could possibly hatch a plot against her by a group of ingrates refusing to praise her.

Let’s be honest—in spite of the fact that honesty is becoming as scarce as chicken’s teeth in today’s America—Donald Trump is a narcissist. Indeed, he is a narcissist on steroids. There has never been an American president more stuck on himself than Donald Trump. Now, this is not to say that others who have filled the chair behind the Resolute Desk of the Oval Office have not been full of themselves as well. The difference, however, is that Trump, unlike his predecessors, is up front about it, daily putting it on public display.

It is Trump’s extreme egomania, which enables him to strut around as himself, without guile, that is so infuriating to his egomaniacal political peers. They simply can’t stand the fact that Trump refuses to hide his enormous ego, as they do, behind the pretense of pious public service. By refusing to play by the long-established political rules of Washington DC, Trump has spawned a national mental health emergency—Trump Derangement Syndrome. Our country, which longs to return to the “sane” days of two-faced and double-dealing politicians, is literally being driven crazy by a president who proudly parades around in his own conceit and unapologetically keeps his campaign promises. What’s wrong with Trump, doesn’t he understand that America’s mental acuity is dependent upon political hypocrisy and duplicity?

The truth is; though contrary to popular opinion, Democrats, like Governor Gretchen Whitmer, are no less self-absorbed than Donald Trump. Although the Democratic pantheon, comprised of self-worshipping politicians, like Governor Whitmer, are more subtle in their self-deification, propping themselves up as the premier and praiseworthy ones among the populace, they’re far too crafty to get caught in their own incalculable conceit. For instance, they’ll never publicly solicit your adoration, like Trump, but they’ll subtly extort your allegiance, as your better.

The egomania of Democrats is exposed in their elitism, which explains why Gretchen Whitmer makes no apology for usurping unconstitutional control over the lives and livelihoods of all Michiganders. It also explains why Joe Biden said this past Friday that the American people have no right to know whether or not he will pack the Supreme Court if elected president. In the minds of Democratic demigods, like Biden and Whitmer, we should all unquestionably surrender ourselves to their absolute sovereignty. After all, they know far better than we do what is best for us, our families, and our country. Far from taking offense at their proposed tyranny, we should be grateful for the guardianship of such benevolent tyrants.

The Lord Jesus Christ Himself warned us that this fallen world is always receptive to false christs, who come to us in their own name (John 5:43). Unlike others, who come in Christ’s name (Matthew 24:5); that is, pretending to be Him, these other false christs, who come in their own name, are far more subtle, not specifically pretending to be Christ to us, but promising to do what Christ alone can do for us. Therefore, it’s not just the head of our government, Donald Trump, who has the big head, but it’s our whole government that has become, like the Hydra of Greek mythology, a many big-headed monster. Furthermore, our government’s less conspicuous big-heads are no less dangerous, since they are far more crafty.
