I've been writing about and warning my fellow Americans of the danger of judicial despotism for years. I know I've been beating this drum repeatedly in my recent Time Capsules, but believe ye me, it needs to be repeatedly beaten. Our judiciary is beating its war drums more loudly than ever against our country, and if we don't wake up to what's going on, we may soon find our constitutional republic scalped of its Constitution. The dire and desperate straits we find ourselves in today, thanks to the growing danger of unabated judicial despotism, just got more dire and desperate yesterday, when the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court jumped in with both feet to rebuke our president over calling for the impeachment of a district judge who is not only trying to usurp the powers of the presidency for himself, but also attempting to control the White House from his little courthouse. Before I deal with President George W. Bush's ongoing plague on America; namely, Chief Justice John Roberts, let me expose the chief judge and wannabe president who is currently setting on a courtroom bench in the deep blue District of Columbia, James Boasberg.
Boasberg is a Barak Obama appointed judge. One of his most notable, or should we say most nefarious rulings, is his slap on the wrist sentencing of Kevin Clinesmith, a FBI agent who deliberately lied to the FISA court, so that the Bureau could continue its unconstitutional and unlawful surveillance of Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign. Instead of sentencing Clinesmith to prison, which he definitely deserved, Boasberg mercifully gave Clinesmith probation instead. On top of this, Boasberg mercilessly sentenced many January 6th defendants to prison for doing nothing more than peacefully walking through the Capital on that eventful day. As though all of this was not proof enough of Boasberg's bias against Trump, Boasberg also appeared on the back row of a D.C. courtroom the day Trump entered his "Not guilty" plea to trumped up charges brought against him by Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferer Jack Smith, the now disgraced Democrat hatchet man who was last seen riding off into the sunset of his Special Counsel career.
The humongous judicial hullabaloo currently incited by the biased black robed Boasberg is over a lawsuit brought against the Trump Administration by the anti-American ACLU and a far left legal nonprofit organization called Democracy Forward. According to this pair of progressive plaintiffs, the President of the United States cannot, for the sake of our national security, deport Tren de Aragua gangsters out of our country who have been sent into our country by an adversarial nation, Venezuela, and its communist dictator, Nicolás Maduro. The absolute absurdity of this is clearly underscored by all of the following: (1) Tren de Aragua terrorists have taken over apartment buildings in Colorado (2) Tren de Aragua terrorists have infiltrated half of our 50 states (3) Tren de Aragua terrorists are guilty of a host of horrendous and heinous crimes, which include the murder of Lakin Riley in Georgia and of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray in Houston (4) Neither the ACLU nor Democracy Forward have any standing to have brought this case against a sitting and duly elected president, and (5) Judge Boasberg has no jurisdiction over such a case, being a local judge without any say so over either our federal government's conducting of foreign affairs or national security decisions. Still, in spite of all of this, Judge Boasberg swung his little gavel and demanded that the President of the United States bow to his judicial dictate, as well as the demands of the ACLU and Democracy Forward, and turn planes around in midair, in order to return Tren de Aragua gangsters to our country. Never, in all of the history of American jurisprudence, has a more insane and imperious injunction ever been handed down by so pompous a pettifogger.
Having blistered James Boasberg for being the biased judicial despot that he is, I’ll now turn my attention to John Roberts, George W. Bush’s pig in a poke Chief Justice. Remember, ever since Robert Bork, Ronald Reagan’s 1987 Supreme Court nominee, was borked by Democrats, with their scorched earth policy to protect their political fetish, abortion on demand, Republican presidents have been nominating pig in the poke nominees to our nation’s highest court. Unlike Democratic presidents, who blatantly nominate radical jurists to man our courts’ benches, so that they can force their radical ideology and agenda down our throats with the gavels of their appointed judges, Republicans have to nominate pig in the poke judges, who can’t be proven to be conservative, lest they too be borked by scorched earth Democrats. Of course, this doesn’t prevent Democrats from going scorched earth on any suspected conservative judge nominated by a Republican president, as we all learned during the confirmation hearings of Brett Kavanaugh. Still, you never really know if a Republican Supreme Court nominee is a real conservative or not until he or she ends up on the court and starts flying their true colors. Granted, there are rare occasions when Republican pig in the poke nominees turn out to be real conservatives, like Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, but most of the time, these pig in the poke nominees turn out to be more moderate than conservative, like Amy Coney Barrett, Bret Kavanaugh, and Chief Justice John Roberts.
Now, it’s not really John Roberts’ moderatism that most disturbs me, but his judicial cowardice, which springs from him being far more concerned about safeguarding our courts than our Constitution. While Roberts excels at protecting our courts from any controversy, he miserably fails at protecting our Constitution from compromise. Time after time he leads our Supreme Court to punt crucial constitutional questions down the road, despite the fact that by refusing to settle these critical constitutional questions once and for all, the constitutional rights of Americans may be compromised in the meantime. For instance, earlier this month Roberts chose not to take up a case brought by conservative college students over the suppression of their right to free speech by their schools’ so-called bias response teams, which are nothing more than 450 college thought police squads who claim the right to censor all speech on their campuses, which they alone determine to be discriminatory. In his blistering dissent to Roberts’ ruling, Clarence Thomas accused the Chief Justice of subjecting college students to a "patchwork of First Amendment rights," depending on their geographical location and what particular school they happen to attend.
Despite the fact that our Chief Justice avoids any hint of political controversy like the plague, even to the point of imperiling our Constitution and constitutional rights, something possessed him yesterday to jump in with both feet between Judge Boasberg’s imperious injunction and President Trump’s call for Boasberg’s impeachment. What was it that possessed our Chief Justice and caused him to cast aside his usual judicial cowardice? No, it wasn’t a flash of courage, but the fact that he was stricken with a most frightening fear; namely, that a Constitutional crisis, such as has now been incited by the bombastic Boasberg, could bring down around our Chief Justices’ ears our entire judicial house of cards, which, as the late Supreme Court Justice Anton Scalia once said, was propped up by nothing more than our public’s confidence in our courts.
Although John Roberts desperately tried yesterday to deviously downplay this impending national disaster—an out of control judiciary usurping a president’s executive powers—he miserably failed, in my opinion, to successfully whitewash it. His characterizing of this whole ordeal as nothing more than a disagreement over a court decision, as well as his rebuke of our president for calling for Boasberg’s impeachment over such an unimpeachable offense, is most disingenuous. Surely, the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court has enough sense to know that a district court judge’s attempt to control the White House from his little courthouse is not only a serious threat to the legitimacy of our judiciary, but also to our constitutional republic. Indeed, if such a tyrannical and treasonous act by a little tinpot judicial tyrant isn’t impeachable, what in the world is? If you ask me, its not just Boasberg that needs to be impeached, but his enabler, Chief Justice John Roberts as well!
