Our ministry, Time For Truth, is dedicated to speaking God’s truth to end-time lies. Two of the greatest end-time lies being propagated today are the lies of systemic racism and economic inequality. Both of these lies allege unreal problems that are unending and unsolvable. Now, this is not to deny the existence of the very real problems of racism and exploitation. It is, however, to deny that racism is systemic and that the explanation for all have-nots is their exploitation by those who have more.
The truth about these two end-time lies is that they are fodder being put on the raging fires of race and class warfare by political demagogues. These demagogues intentionally incite these raging infernos of social unrest for the sole purpose of their political success. Pitting Americans against Americans is seen by many a loathsome politician today as the easiest means to their political ends. What makes matters even worse, is the fact that other politicians, who may not be pitching hay on America’s cultural conflagration, are still unwilling to extinguish it, lest they be excoriated for being prejudiced and privileged plutocrats.
The lie of economic inequality is not based on the constitutional guarantee of equal opportunity. Instead, it is based on a preposterous and impossible proposition; namely, equal outcome. In other words, everyone should have equal income regardless of whether they are responsible or irresponsible, hardworking or lazy, industrious or indolent, ambitious or unaspiring. Furthermore, this preposterous and impossible proposition presents us with a perpetual and unsolvable problem. For instance, as long as there is one American with one more nickel than another, the unending charge of social injustice and economic inequality can be continuously leveled against our society by unscrupulous and self-serving politicians.
When it comes to the lie of systemic racism, let’s take a little more time to debunk it, especially in light of the recent and tragic death of George Floyd, which is being propagated as proof of innate White bigotry and police brutality. According to a study by the National Academy of Sciences, Black fatalities of police shootings do not outnumber those of other races. In fact, the study shows that the increase of Black and Hispanic police officers deployed in accordance with precinct demographics, does not lessen the number of Blacks and Hispanics shot by police, but increases the number shot by Black and Hispanic cops and lessens the number shot by White cops. In fact, a study by Michigan State University found that Black and Latino victims of police shootings are more often shot by Black and Latino police officers rather than by White police officers.
The National Academy of Sciences study, which took into account the 375 million annual encounters between police and civilians, concluded: “There is no significant evidence of anti-black disparity in the likelihood of being fatally shot by police.” Statistics actually prove that the percentage of Blacks shot by police is 13.6%, a figure equivalent to the percentage of America’s black population, which is 14%. On the other hand, 86.5% of victims and fatalities of police shootings are not Black, but members of other races. In addition to all of this, FBI statistics prove that murders of Whites by Black assailants is twice that of Blacks by White assailants.
The charge of systemic racism against Minneapolis, a charge being leveled against the city on the basis of Floyd’s tragic death, warrants closer scrutiny. To begin with, let’s look at those who man Minneapolis’ system of supposed systemic racism. The city’s mayor is the latest in a long line of liberal democrats to occupy Minneapolis’ mayoral office. In fact, the last time a Republican was elected mayor of Minneapolis was in 1957.
Minneapolis’s current police chief, who oversees such a racist police department that many are now calling for it to be defunded, is an African-American. The city’s congressional representative is Ilhan Omar, a native born Somali-American and notorious anti-Semite.
Both of Minnesota’s United States senators are liberal democrats. One, Amy Klobuchar, an unsuccessful primary candidate for the democrat party’s presidential nominee, is now reported to be on the shortlist of Joe Biden’s VP picks. Klobuchar also served for years as Minneapolis’ chief prosecutor, before being elected to the United States Senate. During that time she refused to prosecute a police officer involved in a suspicious shooting, despite the fact that the officer had 17 former complaints lodged against him. That officer, Derek Chauvin, now faces trail for the murder of George Floyd.
The man selected by Minnesota’s liberal democrat governor to prosecute Chauvin, is an African-American, the state’s Attorney General Keith Ellison, who not only served as Minneapolis’s congressional representative from 2007 to 2019, but also as the Deputy Chair of the Democratic National Committee from 2017 to 2018.
If, as it is alleged, systemic racism permeates the city of Minneapolis, then, should the blame for it not be placed at the feet of these White, African-American, and Somali-American liberal democrats, who’ve been residing over the city’s racist system for years?
George Floyd has become a household name. However, chances are you’ve never heard the name of Justine Ruszczyk Damond. Damond, a 40-year-old white woman, was killed last year by a Black Minneapolis police officer, Mohammed Noor. Soon afterward, Noor was arrested, tried, and convicted of murder for his shooting of Damond. Yet, no one has alleged that Noor's murder of Damond proves the Minneapolis police department is guilty of systemic brutality toward Whites.
While the story of George Floyd fills the news, another story from Bloomington, a suburb of Minneapolis, has faded from the press, after only a paltry and partial reporting. On April 12, 2019, Emmanuel Aranda, a 24-year-old black man, grabbed a 5-year-old white boy and threw him off a third-story balcony at the Mall of America. While Aranda is currently serving a 19-year prison sentence for attempted murder, no one is claiming that his despicable act proves the systemic racism of Blacks toward Whites.
Along with Noor’s murder of Damond and Aranda’s attempted murder of a 5-year-old white boy, a gang of around a dozen Somali youths attacked Whites at Minneapolis’ East Bank Train station in May of last year. However, once again, no one claimed that this racist incident confirmed the existence of systemic racism towards Whites in Minneapolis’ Somalian community.
I believe we’ve patently proven, systemic White privilege and bigotry, as well as police brutality, are end-time lies being perpetrated by unscrupulous politicians to persuade their supporters that they're being victimized by villainous occupiers of the opposite side of the political aisle. This incessant inciting of class and racial warfare, as well as the populace against the police, can only lead to our country’s implosion. The only hope of successfully combating these lies and preventing our country’s demise is if enough Americans rise up against them, despite the fact that they’ll be persecuted by political demagogues and our politically correct society for doing so. Unfortunately, the fear of being branded both prejudiced and privileged, has the vast majority of our populace, not just our politicians, as well as America’s evangelicals, being conciliatory caught up in the tide of our current cultural torrent. Fecklessly, we’re being carried along comatose toward our country’s forthcoming collapse.
