The Apostle Peter warned us that in the last days scoffers will mock at the imminence of Christ’s Second Coming (2 Peter 3:3-4). They will claim that unproven predictions of imminency in the past disprove all end-time ones.
I, for one, have always frowned on the sensationalizing of biblical timelines with every single daily headline. Furthermore, I believe popular prophecy pundits often discredit Bible prophecy in the minds of many by foolishly trying to make every world event into a key piece of the prophetic puzzle.
In spite of all of the above, one is forced to admit that the unprecedented times we're now living in are painting a far more precise picture of the biblically predicted end-time scenario than we’ve ever seen before. For instance, the technology for worldwide surveillance, which the Bible predicts will be used by a tyrannical world power at the end of time, has never before been possible. Likewise, mass communication, which the Bible predicts will be used to propagandize the population of our fallen planet in the last days, is no longer unimaginable, as it was previously, but a present everyday reality.
When it comes to the end-times’ biblically predicted mark of the beast, there’s been no shortage of specious speculation about it. Idle speculation has identified it as everything from your social security number to a birthmark on Mikhail Gorbachev’s forehead. Therefore, to broach the subject today is to subject yourself to rolling eyes. Still, as with other unprecedented developments in our world today, this end-time biblical prediction is suddenly coming into clearer focus than ever before.
As I’ve previously written, the proposal of a mandatory coronavirus vaccine with digital ID, which will permit government tracking and prohibit the unvaccinated from access into public buildings, is no Gorbachev birthmark, but a very plausible fulfillment of this most foreboding end-time prediction. In addition, the Federal Reserve partnering with MIT to develop digital currency is a huge step toward a cashless society, within which the long arm of Big Brother could confiscate your assets at anytime, over your failure to conform to his every command! Folks, you can scoff if you want to; but the truth is, we’ve entered the last days of planet earth and Christ’s Second Coming is just around the corner.
