Do you remember when Margaret Thatcher, the Iron Lady, said to former President George H. Bush, "Don't go wobbly on me now, George"? Well, we've definitely got a wobbler in the White House today.
Although he started off talking tough, promising to unwaveringly stand with Israel in their war against the bloodthirsty terrorists of Hamas, Joe Biden quickly wavered and started soft-pedaling weasel worded equivocations. For instance, he started calling for humanitarian pauses in the fighting, which would aid and abet Hamas. While he insisted that these pauses were not equivalent to ceasefires, he failed to distinguish any difference between the two, since such a distinction is nonexistent. Our prevaricating president quickly went from sounding like a pro-Israel General Patton to a functionally pro-Hamas Neville Chamberlain, whose gullibility toward and attempted appeasement of past inhuman anti-Semites erupted into World War II.
This past Friday, in a sly statement that insinuated equivalency between Hamas barbarity and Israel's self-defense, Biden's shilly-shally Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, said, "Far too many Palestinians have been killed; far too many have suffered these past weeks." Blinken's inference is easily detectable, the blame for collateral damage and the deaths of civilians is not to be laid at the feet of Hamas terrorists, who use them as human shields to protect themselves, but at the feet of Israel's IDF, which refuses to stop waging war against Hamas terrorists, who see all Palestinians as dispensable; that is, as nothing more than disposable armor plating and protective covering.
In light of rising antisemitism, which is breaking out all over our world, even on the streets of American cities, as well as the campuses of American colleges and universities, the Biden Administration has announced a full-fledged assault on Islamophobia. As Biden's Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently said, in response to a question about the alarming rise of antisemitism in our own country, “For too long, Muslims in America, and those perceived to be Muslim, such as Arabs and Sikhs, have endured a disproportionate number of hate-fueled attacks and other discriminatory incidents.” She went on to mention the tragic slaying of a six-year old Muslim Palestinian boy in Chicago, without saying a single word about the more than 1,400 innocent Israelis, including little children and infants, who were slaughtered by Hamas terrorists on October 7th.
Make no mistake about it; there is a method to the Biden Administration's madness. It all boils down, as it always does for Democrats, to politics. It has nothing to do with what's best for our world or its people, nor what's best for our own country or its citizens. Instead, it's all about what's best for Democrats’ political careers and their political party. It’s all about power, procuring it and perpetuating it at all and any costs. With a substantial portion of their base, especially Muslim-Americans and woke whippersnappers, proving themselves anti-Semitic and Hamas sympathizers, Democrats have been forced to launch a massive PR campaign to prove themselves pro-Palestinian. However, with the rest of their base, especially Jewish-Americans, anything but anti-Semitic or Hamas sympathizers, Democrats are finding themselves caught between a rock and hard place, which explains the witless wobbling of the Biden White House and its absurd attempt to wave the Israeli flag while wearing a Hamas headband.
