While law-abiding citizens suddenly find themselves under the iron fist of increasing tyranny over a life-threatening virus, lawless anarchists are treated with kid gloves as life-threatening riots spread throughout our land. Freedom of religion has been abrogated, but rioting is being allowed. Whereas the lawful are being coerced, the lawless are being coddled, catered to, and cowered before.

For years, politicians have pitted American against American for the sake of their political careers. Self-serving "public servants" have driven divisive wedges between us, such as racial demagoguery and class warfare. Along with attempting to convince colored minorities that they’re being victimized by the villainous white majority, they’ve also attempted to persuade the poor to lay the blame for their poverty at the feet of the prosperous. Consequently, so much incendiary fuel has been poured on the white-hot flames of societal unrest that our country’s contentious cultural conflagration has grown completely out of control.

Along with cowering before rioting anarchists, our government has also cowered before a nanoparticle pathogen—the coronavirus. In an attempt to curb the spread of this worldwide pandemic, our leaders cut the throat of our own economy. We’re told that over 100 thousand Americans have died from the coronavirus, but for every American that has lost their lives, 400 Americans have lost their livelihoods. To prop up our intentionally collapsed economy and to offer some pittance to our 40 million unemployed, our spendthrift politicians have doled out trillions of dollars in hot checks from bankrupt government coffers. As a result, we’ve added trillions to our already unpayable national debt and increased government dependency, which always translates into government’s increased control over its bought and paid for citizenry. 

Deep state subversives are swiftly multiplying and stealthily marching throughout our government's state department and intelligence agencies. Our fourth estate (mainstream media) has become the ministry of propaganda for the deep state. Once considered a safeguard of our republic, as the watchdog of the people, our press as now become the enemy of the people, as the lapdog of these deep state subversives.  

North Korea's Kim Jung Un, a bona fide nut brandishing nukes, continues to test intercontinental ballistic missiles, like a pyromanic shooting off bottle rockets.

The mad mullahs of Iran, our world’s number one state sponsor of terrorism, are on a mad dash to develop their own nuclear weapon, so they can perpetrate the ultimate suicide bombing.

Communist China has infecting the world with a deadly pathogen from their Wuhan Institute of Virology, in an audacious attempt to usurp world supremacy by reducing all other nations to inferiority. By contaminating other peoples and collapsing their economies, the communist Chinese hope to rise from the ashes of the coronavirus as the world’s supreme military and economic power.

Natural disasters, such as earthquakes, pestilences, famines, and locusts, are multiplying all over the world, even to the point that the United Nations is acknowledging that these global catastrophes are rapidly reaching Biblical proportions.

At the same time our world is in its downward spiral into the Biblically predicted perilous times of the last days, our churches grow increasingly apostate. Instead of preaching repentance, as the Lord commissioned and as His soon coming necessitates (Luke 24:45-47; Mark 1:15), America’s contemporary churches turn their nose up at the preaching of repentance, lest they suffer a backlash from a politically correct society that gets its nose out of joint at the mere suggestion that men are sinners who need to turn from their sin with a broken heart and turn to the Savior, Jesus Christ, with all of their heart.

Is there any wonder, with the church’s refusal to fulfill its God-ordained purpose of preaching repentance and with the government’s refusal to fulfill its God-ordained purpose of restraining evil, that iniquity is abounding, evil men are waxing worse and worse, and the times are becoming more perilous with each passing day?  (Matthew 24:12; 2 Timothy 3:1,13)?
