The Scripture emphatically forewarns us that the Spirit has “expressly” foretold us that “in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of demons” (1 Timothy 4:1). As we have previously written, the founders of Black Lives Matter, who admit to being "trained Marxists,” also allege that their inspiration comes from spiritual entities contacted by them through occult practices. Spawned from the inspiration of these conjured up “seducing spirits” are such demonic doctrines as the liberation of the world from "heteronormative thinking” and the destruction of “the Western-prescribed nuclear family.” In other words, the demonically inspired Black Lives Matter Movement is not only out to condone what the Bible condemns—homosexuality—and to condemn all Bible believers who refuse to condone it, but also out to destroy the Biblical family, which the Bible teaches is the God-ordained bedrock of all orderly society.
This past week, Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for Vice President of the United States, came out in praise of the Black Lives Matter Movement. She praised it for its “brilliance," as well as for its incredible "impact" upon our nation, touting it as a “most significant agent for change.” However, what I find far more disconcerting than the ballyhooing of the Black Lives Matter Movement by a Vice Presidential candidate, is the bowing of America’s contemporary church to this demonically inspired movement, with all of its diabolical dogmas. Truly, as the Bible predicts, many supposed Christians are being spiritually seduced today by seducing spirits to betray the Christian Faith by bowing to the Black Lives Matter Movement. Afraid of being condemned as racists, these so-called Christians are being coerced into apostasy by demon inspired anarchists.
Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the Catholic Church’s former Apostolic Nuncio to America, claimed this past week that America’s upcoming presidential election presents us with a “biblical” challenge “against demonic forces.” According to the Archbishop, the polling place has become a spiritual battleground between “the children of light and the children of darkness,” a place where voters will go on Election Day to war against spiritual and unseen principalities. Viganò contends that it is not just Democrats that Donald Trump is up against this November, but the hordes of Hell as well. While the Archbishop’s hypothesis is certainly understandable, and the fact that our country is currently embroiled in a spiritual conflict over its soul and for its survival is incontrovertible, there is still a fatal flaw in the Archbishop’s call to arms.
According to the Apostle Paul, spiritual conflict cannot be won with carnal weapons, such as ballots and ballot boxes (1 Corinthians 10:3-6). It can only be fought with mighty spiritual weapons that have been divinely supplied to us by God. To believe that voters can thwarted the powers of darkness with their ballots or prevent, by going to the polls in November, the Biblically predicted and divinely preordained end-time plans and purposes of God from coming to pass at the divinely preordained time is the height of all folly. Although we are incontrovertibly caught up in the climatic spiritual conflict of the Biblically predicted perilous times of the last days, to think that we have a vote in how it plays out or that some politician will prove to be its ultimate mover or shaker, instead of just a mere pawn in the hand of divine providence, is really more than just the height of folly, it’s the height of human hubris as well!
