The true church of Jesus Christ is soon to be driven underground in America, because of unprecedented end-time persecution. Before long, the only “churches” allowed to publicly assemble in this country will be those subjecting themselves to state authoritarianism and adopting governmentally imposed apostasy. Before you dismiss this assertion as an absurdity, please consider the following auguries.

1. In 2006, former President Barack Obama daringly declared the following, in his much ballyhooed speech on religion: “Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific values...it requires that their proposals be subject to argument and amenable to reason." In other words, Mr. Obama believes that the only kind of religion that should be allowed in America is one that is offensive to no other religion, amenable to all other religions, without personal convictions or sound doctrines, and whose tenets are based on human reason rather than divine revelation. Obviously, this opinion of our former president, if ever implemented in our law, would outlaw the Christian faith in our land.

2. During her presidential campaign in 2016, Hillary Clinton boldly denounced both religious freedom and individual rights by publicly proclaiming that "deep-seated religious beliefs," such as opposition to abortion, "have to be changed." She then added, "We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society." Such radical rhetoric is reminiscent of Adolf Hitler, who once said, "Society's needs come before the individual's needs."

3. Our new President, Joe Biden, has promised to sign into law Democrats’ Equality Act within his first 100 days in office. This anti-Christian legislation, passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress in May of 2019, but blocked by a Republican-controlled Senate, effectively outlaws Biblical beliefs and Christian convictions that are deemed by Democrats as discriminatory toward the LGBT community. If this duplicitous piece of legislation, having already been passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress, is passed by today’s Democrat-controlled Senate and signed into law by our new Democrat President, it will strip Bible believing Christians of their religious liberty and coerce them, under threat of civil litigation or criminal prosecution, into compromising their beliefs in order to conform to those of militant homosexuals.

In case you haven’t been paying attention, Christianity is under attack in America. The cardinal and fundamental beliefs of the Christian Faith have become both politically and popularly intolerable. As the Bible predicts, the sound doctrines of divinely inspired Scripture have become insufferable in our society, which has freely swapped them for fables that are far more favorable to itching ears (2 Timothy 4:3-4). 

As Biblical truths become increasingly intolerable, America becomes increasingly hostile to them and evermore determined to eradicate them, lest they endanger both our national unity and public safety. Truly, the handwriting on the wall is now unmistakable. America’s Bible believing Christians, who alone comprise the true church of Jesus Christ in America, are facing inevitable, impending, and unprecedented persecution.

This forthcoming persecution will force the true church of Jesus Christ underground. By going underground and becoming incognito, the church will make itself less visible and vulnerable to its persecutors. It will also enable itself to remain, as far as possible, a formidable force for Christ in the dark days ahead. It is therefore imperative that we promptly draw this urgent line in the sand. Otherwise, we’ll not survive the advancing onslaught of an adversarial end-time America!
